Tregothnan Estate Tea Tour and Botanical Gardens to include lunch £95 per person

An absolute Jewel in the Crown. Tea comes from a special form of Camellia sinensis: Tregothnan was first to grow Camellia ornamentally outdoors 200 years ago.

Seven years of trials have been undertaken to achieve these fine teas that really deserve the accolade ‘English Tea’! This year herald's a new tea garden included in the walk around. In the magical Himalayan Valley you will now find an authentic 'piece of Darjeeling'.

The garden is Not Open to the Public. You will be guided through the garden, discuss its fascinating history and the exciting plans for the future, approximately two hours in all.

Following your visit we have arranged lunch or Cook's own Cornish Cream Tea to be taken in the Summerhouse.

In the heart of Cornwall, close to the historic city of Truro, Tregothnan has been the home of the Boscawen family since 1335 and the garden surrounding this historic home has been of lasting interest to successive generations.

As a private botanic garden and arboretum, Tregothnan is unequalled offering scale, diversity, rare collections, sweeping vistas and secluded groves.

The Tregothnan Botanic Garden is the largest historic garden in Cornwall. As a private botanic garden and arboretum, Tregothnan is unequalled - offering a diversity of plants and trees, rare collections, sweeping vistas and peaceful secluded groves.
